So now liberals want to use the ABA ratings again?
After ignoring the fact that the ABA has rated some candidates as "well qualified" liberals are now pointing to an ABA (American Bar Association) rating of "unqualified" as a reason to reject a Bush nominee.
WASHINGTON (AP) - The American Bar Association rated one of President Bush's judicial nominees "not qualified" Wednesday, prompting a call from a liberal group for the president to withdraw the Mississippi lawyer's nomination.
A panel of the nation's largest lawyers group voted unanimously to give its lowest rating to Michael Wallace, Bush's nominee for the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Don't liberals ever get tired of being hypocrites? If an ABA rating of "well qualified" isn't sufficient reason to support a nominee then a rating of "unqualified" isn't a sufficient reason to oppose one.
