My commemoration

Reagan was of Ulster Scots Irish descent, so I had a Bushmill's in his memory while listening to the Royal Scots Dragoons piping "Amazing Grace."

Go out there and win one for the gipper.

Thank God for you, Mr President.

God Bless Ronald Reagan and God Bless the United States of America, the country which he so gallantly led during some of the most troubling years that our country has ever faced. It is because of his leadership that this country is, and continues to be, that shining city upon the hill, which continues to be a model to the entire world, with liberty and justice for all.

Reagan's Passing

We in the military are deeply saddened by the passing of the Great One. He bravely faced down the "evil empire" throughout the cold war years and called for reform that changed the world. A true leader, Reagan stood by his decisions and caved to no man. His sense of humor was unparalleled in the White House, and he inspired all to succeed in their endeavors. He will remain in the hearts of Americans forever.

Rest in Peace Mr. President

The passing of a legend

God bless the Reagan family and may they find peace in this trying hour. Ronald Reagan was one of the greatest Americans that ever lived. He was as important as Winston Churchill was and always will be remembered as one of the towering figures of the 20th century. We have lost a truly great friend of America.

Re: Thank you, President Reagan.

President Reagan was one of the finest Presidents of our time! He stood for TRUTH JUSTICE FREEDOM AND HAPPINESS OF OUR COUNTRY> If he was still our President the world would not be in the shape it is in now. His wife Nancy was one of the most elegant and respected First Ladys and always will be. I will continue to tell my children all about what a Fine Respected and Honest President he was and no matter what some misinformed people may think he was one of the GREATEST MEN TO EVER WALK THE EARTH! He took care of that Berlin Wall and helped people and all of his works like the war and the taxes and he cared about all Americans not just the rich like these other Presidents do. It was very sad to hear of his passing but he will be helping God in Heaven create great works and maybe from above Ronald Reagan can help straighten our world out today. He is at peace and not suffering but everyone will miss him and condolences go to his family but I guarantee that he will be helping God in making even Heaven a better place and our world a better place as he did before. We love you Ronald Reagan and always will-Lynn Picht and family in VA

I feel fortunate to have turned 18 years old just before the 1980 election and considered it an honor to have voted for then candidate Reagan in my first presidential election. God bless America!

Death of President Reagan

May he now be remembered not just as a great President but a brave and courageous man in the face of illness.
I pray that now in God's presence he will discover that as his mind dwelt in that place far off God was beside him.
His mind is now renewed, his suffering ended, his soul in God's tender care.

God be with you.

The Gipper was a menace to evildoers everywhere
and a blessing from God to all who knew him.

Good news is, the Gipper will save on gas while getting to Heaven,
I hear Rancho de Cielo and Heaven are in the same zip code.

We are truly a darker world without him,
but "there will always be a bright dawn ahead" because of him.

The Old California Guard Trooper Passes To The Fiddler's Green

To Mrs Reagan:

I entered the US Army in 1982 and we called ourselves the Reagan Reservists. That one man did more for the USA and its military than any other. I retired from the Ohio Army Guard in 2003. Quite a career - in with Ronald Reagan and out with George Bush.

May the old Cavalry Trooper catch up with old friends at the Fiddler's Green.

a Leader that made the world safer

Ronald Reagan will be America's most enduring figure since the dark days of WWII. His Ideals, his visions of a peaceful world will live on in the hearts of all freedom loving people worldwide. I'm an Englishman, but share in the loss of the greatest leader that my country's greatest ally has ever had. Ronald Wilson Reagan RIP and my thoughts reach out to Nancy and the Family. They should be proud that Ronnie made the world safer for everyone that believes in freedom and democracy, and that such values seem to be dying with this great man.

I remember when he visited his ancestral home in Ballyporeen. He also visited the American company I used to work for in Columbus, Ohio - AccuRay in 1982.

Re: Rest in Peace our Irish Son

Ronald Reagan was not only the best president in American history, he was the icon of patriotism. He was a perfect example of being proud of being an American. On this sad day of the death of a great American, I want to take the time to thank him for his service. Because of Reagan, the USSR fell. Because of Reagan, the Berlin wall came crashing down. Because of Reagan, East and West Germany became one again. Because of Reagan, our economy experienced a great recovery. Because of Reagan, Americans were proud to be Americans again.

It is a sad day, however, I realize that Mr. Reagan suffered during the last decade. I am saddened, but relieved that he is in a better place now. My condolences go out to Mrs. Nancy Reagan and the Reagan family.
