She can see Russia from her house!
Democrats tried to ridicule Governor Palin's remark that Russia is so close to Alaska that you can see it from certain parts of Alaska. They went on to pooh-pooh her remarks about when Putin sends his bombers our way they encounter Alaska first.

For Democrats, reality is a bitch.
Not since 1984, just before the fall of the Soviet Union, has Russia ventured to launch dozens of nuclear bombers for an exercise in which Tu-95 Bear bombers will fire live cruise missiles. Exercise Stability 2008 will take place Oct.-6-12 over sub-Arctic Russia uncomfortably close to the US state of Alaska, and Belarus.


Governor Palin, like so many Republicans, is living in reality. Where are the Democrats living?

Heh!!! When I lived up there, I remember hearing periodic reports of this American or that one getting picked up by the Russian authorities from Siberia because they traveled too far out on the ice from the Aleutian chain and were actually in Russian territory. ....OOPS! XD
