Coming from Philadelphia, I have to say that it sickens me how Jamal has been made into a celebrity by moronic musicians and assinine actors. He is a cop killer, pure and simple. He should have been executed years ago. Danny Faulkner's widow, Maureen, has recently written a book. My parents have read it and are going to send it to me. I'll let you know what I think of it.

I have lost all hope that justice will be done in this case. The general prison population sees Jamal as a "hero" so he will probably be treated as such. Makes me want to throw up.

Hmmm, perhaps the general prison population will not be so kind to this "political prisoner" as the left has been....

General Population will never have an issue with Mumia. He is the paragon for relentlessly back-beating the system -- and now succeeding (at least to a degree)! Life over death is a definitive victory, and at this point he's so institutionalized never going home isn't going to adversely affect him.

So do you spend the money to seat another jury and hope they come back with a new death sentence?

No, unless there is an immense amount of political pressure from the widow and/or local police organizations.
