Oh, boy, this issue is driving leftists nuts!
They cannot openly attack the concept of a restrictive race-based scholarship without proving the point of those who oppose quota-based affirmative action programs, so they call the person running the scholarship a "hypocrite" for accepting a Hispanic scholarship.
No, dear liberals, he would be a hypocrite if he accepted a restrictive race-based scholarship and then claimed that the fact that there weren't any such scholarships for whites was just, legal or in keeping with "equal protection". Hey...isn't that the liberal position on affirmative action?!
Either we treat everyone equally or we don't!
