Hillary moves right
Is anyone surprised?

You shouldn't be. You can't run for President from the far-left (and win).

Don't be surprised when she and her husband come out in support of President Bush's (eventual) plan to reform Social Security. Bill Clinton is an expert on spinning Social Security. That's how he defeated Senator Tsongas in the 1992 primaries. He will be a powerful voice in the Social Security reform debate. So, why would Bill and Hillary help President Bush on this issue? Obviously they are looking forward to 2008.

It seems obvious (to me), but even Rush missed the point to Bill and Hillary's recent friendship with the Bush clan. The Clintons are trying to send signals to Republicans that it is okay to support Hillary. Appearing with Bush 41 and Bush 43 helps them achieve that goal as does Hillary's recent move to the right on social issues. Hillary can't win without support from the center, and from socially conservative Democrats. President Bush also needs Democrat support to pass Social Security reform. If Bill and Hillary can help him do that, he'll use them. Remember, he teamed with Ted Kennedy on education issues.

Supporting Bush 43 in the political arena will (from the Clinton's point of view) give Hillary an edge on claiming the political center in 2008. Don't laugh, Bill did it in 1992. The MSM is already helping Hillary position herself as a "centrist".

It is ironic that the Republicans may lose in 2008 over their reluctance to team up with President Bush on Social Security reform. The Clintons are savvy politicians. They see an opening here, and a wedge that gives them an advantage in 2008.

A word of advice to anyone who wants to run in 2008: support President Bush early and often on Social Security, the war against terrorism and controlling federal spending. Republicans should follow that advice, Hillary certainly is.

If you think tackling Social Security is scary, just say these words out loud: President Hillary Clinton.

I think Hillary will appeal to light weight republicans that maybe just voted for Bush because they didn't see John Kerry as the right choice and knew anyone other than Bush wouldn't have a chance

but for the most part "Clinton" will not be something republicans will vote for...

Sean Hannity has had "Hillary Watch" since the day after the election. Her move right is not surprising, we knew it was coming and are documenting it. If she thought the right was all over Dean, she ain't seen nothing yet.

Do you have any suggestions for possible 2008 candidates to oppose whatever the left throws at us?

Remember, he teamed with Ted Kennedy on education issues

And look where that got him: Kennedy turned on him in a red-hot second

One thing Hillary has done kind of effectively I think is she is running to the right on President Bush on the border situation. To me, that is one of Bush's biggest flaws. I'm all for the WOT, but we have just GOT to do something about the ease in which those millions of illegals are flooding over the borders. How many terrorists can get through that? It bothers me a lot that the budget cut border patrol agents from 2,000 to 200. At least that's what I saw on one report.

Hillary is going to have to prove to me that she MEANS it. I don't want to be talked "at" and then when she gets in office, have her fall right back on her liberalism.

The Republican majority has to grow some backbone, too and stand behind President Bush and do something right for a change instead of worrying about getting re-elected. I'd re-elect somebody in a minute if I thought they were actually sincere about doing something right, but unpopular, you know? That's one of the reasons I like President Bush so well.

I'm sure she means it in the same way her husband meant that he would give you tax cuts. :P

Our borders are a mess. Unfortunately I think it will take another 9-11 type event to fix that.

Un fortunately Rice wont run for President, hopefully for the good of the party she will take the VP position behind maybe Senator Dole, or Santorum, hopefully not Jeb Bush tho

*Points and laughs*

As democrats clame the republican agenda is evil and say Bill and Hillary are everything good I get to point and laugh.

Hillary is obveously posturing and she has already screwed her chances.
If she actually gets the Democratic nomination she'll become a billboard for voting republican.

When both canidates express the same agenda the public looks at the canidates history and votes for the one who didn't change positions just to get elected.

No fear...
So who's the Green party canidate gona be. Probably Nater again.
Nater will get more votes than Hillary with the Republican canidate winning the election.
