The Second American Civil War. Did you hear something?
As liberals everywhere move from merely pouting to pouting online America finds itself in the midst of a second Civil War.
No need to worry, though. This war has already been fought and won (or lost, as it were) without a shot being fired.
Liberals, led from the rear by the likes of Michael Moore, Alec Baldwin and Al Franken lost this war even before they started it. Attacks on "the rest of us" by liberals have amounted to little more than childish diatribes, apologia to global socialism and what can only be explained as Republican double-agent inspired meltdowns (see Rosenblog's conspiracy theory for a great example of that).
In short, liberals put up all the effort of France in this "civil war" against the red states—not that it would have mattered in the long run. The red states had the advantage in demographics as well as brains and industriousness. What would the blue states do without the ability to fly, which came from red-state Ohio? Where would they be without the ability to travel to space, enabled by the red states of Texas and Florida (as well as Alabama and once again, Ohio)? In addition, the red states feed not only the nation, but also the world. Indeed the "world's breadbasket" of the great plains is one solid blanket of red. Clearly the blue states alone amount to little more than Canada with a better climate.
Perhaps what harms liberals the most is that no one outside of their own circle takes their gaggle of spokespersons seriously. Michael Moore is this generation's McCarthy with his "list of known corporate criminals and foreign rulers" who control the Bush administration. Al Franken simply tells outright lies to cover up his lack of intelligence and the Hollywood elite demonstrate to one and all the true nature of "out of touch millionaires" trying to run the country.
In all seriousness, I'm sure the liberals are very, very upset. But you would think that even they would realize by now that they need to find a more responsible outlet for their energy. Paying Michael Moore and Al Franken to tell lies is no way to run a revolution. Current Mood : amused Tags : liberals, society
