LiveJournal's most famous "political operative"
stupendous advocate text
Michael Moore or Osama Bin Laden?
Are these quotes/attributions from Michael Moore or Osama Bin Laden?

  1. President Bush ignored warnings against invading Iraq because he was dazzled by the country's "black gold" and ended up leading the United States into a quagmire.

  2. The majority of Americans - the ones who never elected you - are not fooled by your weapons of mass distraction. We know what the real issues are that affect our daily lives - and none of them begin with I or end in Q. Here's what threatens us: two and a half million jobs lost since you took office, the stock market having become a cruel joke, no one knowing if their retirement funds are going to be there, gas now costs almost two dollars - the list goes on and on. Bombing Iraq will not make any of this go away. Only you need to go away for things to improve.

  3. As for the size of the economic deficit, it has reached record astronomical numbers.

  4. No one except a dumb thief plays with the security of others and then makes himself believe he will be secure. Whereas thinking people, when disaster strikes, make it their priority to look for its causes, in order to prevent it happening again.

  5. How bad do you have to suck to lose a popularity contest with Saddam Hussein? The whole world is against you, Mr. Bush. Count your fellow Americans among them.

  6. Kill Iraqis—they got our oil!

  7. Will Bush soon be a convicted war criminal? The long-term damage from a short-term war. More on the dangers of depleted uranium, which the US has already said it will not clean up. And, of course, there are also the cluster bombs, which litter a Baghdad neighborhood.

  8. But I am amazed at you. Even though we are in the fourth year after the events of September 11th, Bush is still engaged in distortion, deception and hiding from you the real causes.

  9. That being said, those who say that al-Qaida has won against the administration in the White House or that the administration has lost in this war have not been precise, because when one scrutinises the results, one cannot say that al-Qaida is the sole factor in achieving those spectacular gains.

  10. But because it seemed to him that occupying himself by talking to the little girl about the goat and its butting was more important than occupying himself with the planes and their butting of the skyscrapers.

  11. Mr. Bush just sat there and continued to read My Pet Goat.

  12. The policy of the White House that demands the opening of war fronts to keep busy their various corporations - whether they be working in the field of arms or oil or reconstruction - has helped al-Qaida to achieve these enormous results.

  13. Reports of torture at the Abu Ghraib prison are not isolated incidents. A rapid increase in suicide attempts at Guantanamo prompted many human rights organizations to suspect similar conditions of torture.

  14. It shows that the Bush administration has also gained, something of which anyone who looks at the size of the contracts acquired by the shady Bush administration-linked mega-corporations, like Halliburton and its kind, will be convinced. And it all shows that the real loser is ... you.

  15. When Bush labels his actions as the model of patriotism, he then classifies all dissent as un-American. While this may be comforting to him, it is actually an insult to patriotism.

  16. Is it rude to suggest that when the Bush family wakes up in the morning they might be thinking about what's best for the Saudis instead of what's best for you?

Osama Bin Laden: 1,3,4,8,9,10,12,14.
Michael Moore: 2,5,6,7,11,13,15,16.

Related note: Michael Moore has been AWOL since Bush won re-election. Perhaps he is in conference with Bin Laden, discussing their next move against President Bush?

When did Bush have time to kill all those Iraqis? Wasn't he on vacation all the time?

A Random Reagan Quote

"It is the Soviet Union that runs against the tide of history.... [It is] the march of freedom and democracy which will leave Marxism-Leninism on the ash heap of history as it has left other tyrannies which stifle the freedom and muzzle the self-expression of the people."
